About Me

My journey into the realm of sound began while I was living in London, seeking solace from trauma-induced symptoms. I found refuge in a quaint yoga studio, experimenting with various yoga forms and meditation techniques to alleviate my anxiety and stress.

During this exploration, I experienced my first gong bath. I had a mixture of feelings, both intriguing and affecting. The primal power of the gongs was initially overwhelming, and I contemplated leaving when the waves of sound intensified. However, as I observed my reactions to the various sounds, I noticed how my emotions fluctuated, moved and transformed;  it was truly fascinating.

As I continued attending sound bath sessions, I began to appreciate their calming power. My mind would effortlessly ease into tranquility, disconnecting from daily worries and immersing in the present. Each sound session left me feeling lighter, uplifted, and this serenity stayed with me for days.

Driven by my new-found passion in alternative wellbeing tools, I trained as a yoga teacher and continued to practice as a Speech & Language Therapist for adults.

My career led me to the Isle of Man, where I chose to embrace further training as a Sound Therapist.

After witnessing the global turmoil caused by the pandemic, I felt a compelling need to contribute towards mental wellbeing and deep relaxation that is accessible to people from every walk of life. That’s when I decided to dedicate my energy and focus on creating Soundology.

The profound impact of sound on people has been an eye-opener for me, and my passion lies in sharing this extraordinary method of deep relaxation.

Working with sound is more than just an art and relaxation method; it is a powerful tool for reflection and gaining insights into challenges that can arise in our daily lives.

Soundology is inspired by the abundant nature, generous community, and beauty of the Isle of Man. The work of Soundology aims to share these wonders and to be of far-reaching significance as we begin to offer audio-visual Sound Baths and Soundscapes online. I am also crafting a special online space for the well-being of female health professionals; a mission that holds a special place in my heart.

I am thrilled to guide you on this harmonious journey to wellness, exploring the transformative power of sound together.
